Bayou Pasta – Penne Rigate w/Bourbon Barrel Aged White Wine Cream Sauce

Refrigerate or Freeze.

If not freezing, please refrigerate and because our sauces aren’t packed with preservatives, cook within 3 days.  Remember…Left-overs are good too!  There’s a lot of truth when you hear “Pasta is better the second time around”…even warmed up in the microwave! If freezing, I found better results by putting the pan in a 2-gallon freezer (Ziploc) bag instead of putting the pan directly into the freezer.

Cooking Instructions:

Method 1: Oven: Preheat oven to 375°.  Bake covered on center rack for 30 minutes.  Remove cover and bake an additional 5 minutes uncovered.  Remove from oven and let rest for approx. 5 minutes before serving. Stir (mix) then serve.

Method 2: Stove top

Empty contents into a deep skillet and heat on medium to medium high until hot, stirring occasionally.  Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Frozen:

Remove from freezer and place in the refrigerator the day before cooking then follow instructions above. (If still partly frozen you may have to adjust above cooking time a little).
